Tree Surgeon

Crown lifting

This technique is used in order to increase the distance between the base of the canopy and ground level. This is done by selective removal of lower limbs in the trees crown. To do best by the tree crown lifting should take place before the tree reaches maturity to avoid large open wounds.

However this cannot be prevented in some cases, suburban areas where trees coexist with everyday life will grow obstructing or causing a hazardous situation for instance low limbs over footpath, limbs covering signs at junctions or bus routes.
